#1: Combine Ingredients
Combine the ingredients in the pot.
Bring mixture to boil 3-5 minutes. Cook on medium high [setting 5/10] for 10 minutes, mixing often.
#3: Finish and Serve
Salsa Sauce is a great way to finish Pork Carnitas, Steak Tacos, Huevos Rancheros and Prawns.
The Original is pretty fast. That said, if you don’t have time to make the Classic Salsa recipe — all you need is any store bought fresh red salsa. You can elevate it to Simple Salsa Sauce status by adding butter to it and following the Original directions.

Simple Salsa Sauce is a great way to eliminate salsa waste. After following the for One Classic Salsa recipe you should have enough to cover your snacking needs and make this sauce. I suggest 1 TBS of butter for every 1/4 cup of salsa.
It took some convincing, but once my kiddos were willing to try the salsa sauce, they discovered how much they like it. It took about 10 attempts so keep trying if they haven’t come around yet!

Dear SooN Cooks of the internet,
Similar to the Classic Salsa recipe, 1000% of the credit goes to San Carlos Restaurant. While it is not exactly Beef Wellington — the directions here are my attempt to copycat what the restaurant calls Santa Fe Sauce.
