Of my favorite quotes is from Lewis Carroll: “If you don’t know where you are going, any road will take you there”.
This concept directly applies to an Au Pair search. In order to find the right candidate for your Au Pair role, you need to be able to define exactly what your Au Pair role entails as well as what success looks like. This is step one.
Once you’ve identified specifically what you are looking for, you need to be able to effectively communicate it to Au Pair candidates. I’ve learned that the easiest way to do this is through writing. This is step two.
